National Accounts Manager - Take Home

£35K - £45k + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits Package

Due to exciting expansion plans, opportunities have arisen on the Take Home Market.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director your wide ranging remit will be to develop Cains Beer Brands and owned branded beers - in the Independent & National Take Home market including:

  • Developing sales within existing trading accounts
  • Supermarkets, Cash & Carrys, Independent Off Licenses
  • Support the Cains Brands and owned branded beers at outlet levels
  • Gain distribution of Cains core brands and owned branded beers
  • Ensuring focus on National Account agreements at Regional levels
  • Accompaniment days with regional teams for Asda, Coop, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's
  • Build local relationships with key Supermarkets, Cash & Carrys and Independent Off Licenses
  • Support Cains brands within National Accounts outlets

This varied and challenging role will require a highly self-motivated achiever who thrives on the ability to make decisions and follow through with the highest levels of customer service and has had sales experience within a similar role.

Health & Safety Advisor P/T 15 hours per week

Reporting to (Job Title): Quality & Safety Manager

Salary : £25,000 PA pro rota

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review MSDS and complete COSHH assessments for all materials used on site
  • Monitor, schedule assign and complete Risk Assessments ensuring that All tasks on site have a documented up to date Risk Assessment and Safe system of Work
  • Monitor and Manage Site Fire risk Assessments and evacuation plans
  • Complete H&S audits and track compliance of corrective actions
  • Ensure that all raw materials used in our formulations are assessed and are safe for use
  • Manage site systems to ensure legal compliance with Environmental & Safety Legislation
  • Set up and develop a site Safety & Environmental committee to promote environmental issues across the site
  • Completion of internal audits in line with companies internal audit plan
  • Any other duties within the purpose, spirit and scope of the post as may be required by the Quality & Safety Manager from time to time
  • To promote Health & Safety policy and procedure, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Completion of self development plans as agreed with Quality & Safety Manager

Qualifications / Experience Desired

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Health & Safety role in a similar industry
  • NEBOSH General Certificate Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety
  • Environmental foundation Certificate

Required

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar Health & Safety Role
  • IOSH Managing Safely Certificate

Quality Systems and Audit Coordinator

Reporting to (Job Title): Quality & Safety Manager

Salary Band £15,000 - £20,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Internal Specifications, ensuring that they adequately provide information ensuring compliance with customer specifications and requirements
  • To update and maintain internet based customer specification systems and other customer's non-web based specs.
  • To provide factory based quality training and support, to ensure quality and safety standards are driven to higher standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage site Calibration and routine testing and assessment programmes
  • Filing of related paperwork & samples & inputting results into computer
  • Involvement in raising & investigating quality defects that occur. Ensuring that all stock is correctly held and that root cause analysis is completed.
  • To ensure that all incidents of non-conformities are reported and assist the Quality and Safety Manager in investigations
  • Management and completion of site GMP, system and Safety Audits
  • Completion of routine process audits to ensure that high standards of process compliance are achieved
  • Cover Shift Laboratory Operatives during holidays and periods of absence
  • Any other duties within the purpose, spirit and scope of the post as may be required by the Quality & Safety Manager from time to time
  • To promote Health & Safety policy and procedure, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Completion of self development plans as agreed with Quality & Safety Manager

Qualifications / Experience Desired

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality Assurance role in a similar industry
  • HACCP intermediate Certificate
  • Lead auditor qualification

Required

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar Quality role
  • Internal auditor Certificated
  • Certificated HACCP qualification
  • Computer Literate
  • Laboratory Experience
